mount the defogger on the wall, just behind your mirror. Before you start to install, you need to check with
your local law if you need to have a licensed electrician to install it.
Defoggers run from 75 watts to 110-watt depending on the brand. You have the option of
using the same power source as your lighting fixture or you can run a separate line from your junction box
to the defogger. You have to make sure the defoggers are tested to CSA international standards.
How much do the defoggers cost?
It depends where you purchase the bath defoggers. Generally, a defogger cost anywhere
between $35 to more than $100. We recommend you compare the pricing of various brand to find a good
bargains. Keep in mind however; quality is important. If you find generics, you may find better deals, yet how
long will the unit last? What you should look for are safe to use, good quality, reliable and are from reputable
manufacturer.
